The Parker Solar Probe (PSP) mission is providing a full set of SPICE kernels for use with the mission data. Mission Frame Kernel

File Naming Convention - spp_vNNN.tf (where NNNN is the PSP assigned version number)

Description - The kernel contains definitions of and specification of relationships between reference frames. This frame kernel contains the current set of coordinate frame definitions for the Parker Solar Probe spacecraft, structures, and science instruments. The kernel is produced by the PSP mission.


Analysis Frame Kernel

File Naming Convention - spp_dyn_vNNN.tf (where NNNN is the PSP assigned version number).

Instrument Kernel (IK).

File Naming Convention - spp__vNNN.ti (where NNNN is the PSP assigned version number).

Description - Instrument field of view size, shape and orientation. This instrument kernel contains references to mounting alignment, operating modes, and timing as well as internal and field-of-view geometry for the Solar Probe Plus instruments. The kernel is produced by the PSP mission..
